About N5507T

N5507T is a 1964 Cessna 172E model. Don't let the age and model deceive you.
This Cessna has been upgraded to the 21st century from engine to avionics.

Flying this rocket feels like you're flying a brand-new aircraft with its technology and a beautiful 180-horsepower engine.
You won't find a nicer Cessna 172 to fly in.

Performance

We all know that the performance of an aircraft is the first thing we look at. You may be thinking a 1964 Cessna 172 has to be a slow flying airplane. Originally, this aircraft had a 145 horsepower engine however, that old, underpowered thing is no more. N5507T has the Super Hawk Conversion, bringing a Lycoming O-360 180 horsepower engine attached to the front of this Cessna 172. This engine adds far better performance compared to its elderly counterpart, a better cruise to get to your destination faster, a climb rate to get out of the Florida heat quicker, and an increased gross weight for more load.

Avionics

Speed and climb rate is a nice perk when it comes to flying. Now what do we pilots look at 95% of our flight? That would be our lovely instrument panel. Usually, these older aircraft only used round dial gauges, which have been replaced with new technology. Pilots in the big leagues aren't looking at round dials anymore, for the most part, neither will we. N5507T has its instrument panel upgraded with some of the best Garmin units in general aviation.

Aircraft Navigation

Garmin 345 Audio Panel for Bluetooth music, Jam out without cords.

Garmin GTX 345 Transponder for ADBS-in/out, see traffic on the G650 GPS

Garmin 650XI GPS/NAV is an all-in-one for all your navigating needs. Old school needles or global satellite GPS

Garmin is all foreflight compatible. Cockpit management made easy.

Aircraft Instruments

Dual Garmin G5 set up. Who needs unreliable vacuum systems? Not N5507T.
